Wolf Golf Game: Rules, Strategy & Scoring

Wolf is a strategic 4-player betting game where the "wolf" picks a partner — or goes Lone Wolf for double. Full rules and scoring inside.

Wolf is a points/betting game for four. Players rotate being the "Wolf" each hole (fixed order). Off the tee the Wolf watches each drive and either picks a partner (2v2) — choosing right after that player's tee shot, before the next player hits — or goes Lone Wolf, taking on all three alone for a higher payout (usually double or triple). Some groups add "Blind Wolf" (declaring before anyone tees off) for an even bigger multiplier.

Worked example: holes worth 1 point. Partner up and win = +1 each. Go Lone Wolf (3x) and beat all three = +3; lose and you pay each opponent the multiplied amount.
